DEBEN BHATTACHARYA による『Paris to Calcutta: Men and Music on the Desert Road』。カルカッタとパリに拠点を置いていたフィールド音の採取者、詩人、映画制作者、アマチュア民族音楽学者であった Deben Bhattacharya (1921-2001) の、今まで発表されていなかった、1955年にパリからカルカッタに至る道のりで録音され描かれた、印象主義的で詩的な旅行記『Paris to Calcutta: Men and Music on the Desert Road』。

1955年に録音された４時間にわたる43のトラックは、ベドウィン族のキャンプ、トルコ、イラン、イラク、アフガニスタン、ヨルダン、パキスタン、そしてギリシャの音楽をフィーチャーした、路上の記録。
